Busy week as children roll up their sleeves for COVID-19 jabs

It‘s been a busy week at Mid North Coast Local Health District vaccination clinics as children aged five to 11 were welcomed for their COVID-19 vaccination.
Twins Addison and Asher attended the Kempsey District Hospital vax clinic for their jab and before too long they were all smiles proudly displaying their bravery certificates.

To 8pm yesterday, (14 January 2022), there were 332 new cases of COVID-19 reported from PCR tests in the Mid North Coast Local Health District.
One hundred and forty-seven are from the Port Macquarie-Hastings Local Government Area (LGA), 72 cases are from Coffs Harbour LGA, 86 cases are from Kempsey LGA, 24 cases are from Nambucca Valley LGA and three cases are from Bellingen LGA.
There are 60 COVID-19 cases in Mid North Coast hospitals, with two people in intensive care.
There have been 8,034 cases reported from PCR tests in the district since June 2021.
At our Mid North Coast Health clinics, there were 610 tests conducted yesterday.
