Aug 19, 2024Brain Injury Awareness Week is held annually to raise awareness of brain injury and its impact on everyday Australians.
Brain injuries can change a person’s thinking, behaviour, senses, movement, or lifestyle. This can have a profound effect not only on the person with a brain injury but also on the lives of those around them.
Our local Mid North Coast Brain Injury Rehabilitation Service (MNCBIRS) provides rehabilitation services and short-term case management for people with traumatic brain injury. Information about MNCBIRS is available here.
