Another big milestone for Patient Reported Measures on HOPE
Feb 05, 2024Mid North Coast Local Health District teams began collecting Patient Reported Measures (PRMs) using the Health Outcomes & Patient Experience (HOPE) in mid-2021.
Since then, more than 5000 Patient Reported Outcome Measure Surveys (PROMS) have been completed by patients to help guide the care they receive.
There are almost 50 teams in the Local Health District using HOPE and this number continues to grow.
PRM lead for MNCLHD Andrew Wong said: “We have 10 teams scheduled to be added to HOPE over the next six months and we will soon begin scoping potential teams for the second half of 2024”.
PRMs is a statewide initiative and MNCLHD is the first district to establish its own PRM Community of Interest.
Community of interest meetings are held every two months and are open to all staff regardless of whether or not they are using PRMs.
The next meeting is scheduled for 3pm, on the 27 February via Teams.
If you would like to attend this meeting or if your team is interested in collecting PRMs please contact: Clinton.Gibbs@health.nsw.gov.au, Andrew.Wong5@health.nsw.gov.au or Ashma.ShresthaDawadi@health.nsw.gov.au.
