40 new COVID-19 cases reported for Mid North Coast

There were 40 new cases of COVID-19 reported in the Mid North Coast Local Health District to 8pm yesterday (21 December).
Twenty cases are from the Coffs Harbour Local Government Area (LGA), 10 cases are from Port Macquarie-Hastings LGA, seven cases are from the Bellingen LGA, two cases are from the Kempsey LGA and one case is from Nambucca Valley LGA.
The source of the infection of 32 cases is under investigation, five cases are linked to a known case or cluster and three cases are household contacts of a confirmed case.
There have been 779 cases reported in the District since the beginning of the current NSW outbreak.
