383 new COVID-19 cases reported for Mid North Coast

There were 383 new cases of COVID-19 reported in the Mid North Coast Local Health District to 4pm yesterday (1 February 2022) – including 335 positive rapid antigen tests (RATs) and 48 positive PCR tests*.

Sadly, Mid North Coast Health is reporting the death of a person in their 90s with COVID-19 from Port Macquarie-Hastings LGA. We extend our sincere condolences to their family and loved ones.

One hundred and forty-six are from Port Macquarie-Hastings Local Government Area (LGA), 133 are from Coffs Harbour LGA, 60 are from Kempsey LGA, 35 are from Nambucca Valley LGA and nine are from Bellingen LGA.

There have been 16,293 cases reported in the district since June 2021.

At our Mid North Coast Health clinics, there were 93 tests conducted yesterday.
