253 new COVID-19 cases, one death for Mid North Coast

There were 253 new cases of COVID-19 reported in the Mid North Coast Local Health District to 4pm yesterday (5 February 2022) – including 206 positive rapid antigen tests (RATs) and 47 positive PCR tests*.

Sadly, Mid North Coast Health is reporting the death of one person in their 70s with COVID-19 from Kempsey LGA. We extend our sincere condolences to their family and loved ones.

One hundred and one are from Coffs Harbour Local Government Area (LGA), 84 are from Port Macquarie-Hastings LGA, 43 are from Kempsey LGA, 15 are from Nambucca Valley LGA and 10 are from Bellingen LGA.

There are 53 COVID-19 cases in Mid North Coast hospitals, with two people in intensive care.

There have been 17,707 cases reported in the district since June 2021.
