The Get Healthy in Pregnancy Service

Maintaining a healthy lifestyle is important during pregnancy for your own well-being, and that of your growing baby. A healthy lifestyle means eating a healthy well-balanced diet, staying active and abstaining from substance use such as alcoholsmoking/vaping and illicit drugs.

The Get Healthy in Pregnancy service is a free health coaching service for all pregnant women in NSW aged 16 years and over. Qualified health coaches will support you through your journey from pregnancy, to birth and beyond to be the healthiest version of you, for you and your baby.

Your health coach could help you to:

  • eat healthy
  • get active and stay active
  • have a healthy weight gain during pregnancy
  • assist after you have your baby to get back to your best health
  • not drink alcohol during your pregnancy or while breastfeeding.

You can choose the number of coaching calls you want and schedule them at a time that works best for you. Usually, health coaches will work with you for up to 6 months, or until you reach your goals.
