Criteria for COVID-19 Assessment

NSW Health recommends if you have ANY of the following symptoms you should be tested for COVID-19, even if symptoms are mild:

  • Fever (37.5° or higher)
  • Cough
  • Sore/ scratchy throat
  • Shortness of breath
  • Loss of taste or smell.

Other reported symptoms of COVID-19 include fatigue, runny nose, muscle pain, joint pain, diarrhoea, nausea/vomiting and loss of appetite. In more severe cases, infection can cause pneumonia with severe acute respiratory distress.

Coffs Harbour Health Campus COVID-19 Clinic

Open Monday to Friday, 8am – 4.30pm, weekends 8am – 2pm
Children under 6 years of age will not be tested at this facility and should attend the Emergency Department. Access the clinic via the Emergency Department entrance (turn right at main roundabout) and park in ED carpark. Walk past ED entrance and look for demountable tents, they are sign posted.

Kempsey Hospital COVID-19 Clinic

Open Monday to Sunday, 8.30am – 3.30pm

Old Macksville Hospital Site Drive-Through COVID-19 Clinic

Open Monday to Friday, 9am – 1pm
Children under 6 years of age will not be tested at this facility and should attend the Emergency Department.
Entrance via Nancye Roberts Drive, Macksville.

Port Macquarie Base Hospital COVID-19 Clinic

Go to the Port Macquarie Base Hospital Emergency Department staff will assist you upon arrival.
