Criteria for COVID-19 Assessment

NSW Health recommends if you have ANY of the following symptoms you should be tested for COVID-19, even if symptoms are mild:

Symptoms include:

  • fever (37.5 ° or higher)
  • cough
  • sore throat
  • shortness of breath (difficulty breathing)
  • runny nose
  • loss of taste
  • loss of smell.

Other reported symptoms include:

  • fatigue
  • acute blocked nosed (congestion)
  • muscle pain
  • joint pain
  • headache
  • diarrhoea
  • nausea/vomiting
  • loss of appetite.

Unexplained chest pain and conjunctivitis have also been reported as symptoms of COVID-19.  In more severe cases, infection can cause pneumonia with severe acute respiratory distress.

Open Monday to Friday, 9am – 1pm

Please note: Children under 6yrs go to ED for testing. Children 6yrs and older go to Clinic.

Open Monday to Friday, 8am – 4.00pm, weekends 8am – 2pm
