Prof. Cavanagh has extensive experience in leadership, governance, risk management, workforce planning, budget development, management and stakeholder engagement.
She recently completed her tenure in the position of Deputy Vice Chancellor Research and Engagement at Charles Sturt University where she led research, community, industry, international and Indigenous engagement and the government relations portfolios.
Her qualifications include BSc (Hons) Microbiology, PhD Molecular Virology, Postgraduate Certificate of Education, Postgraduate Certificate University Leadership and Management.
