Kempsey District Hospital

Kempsey District Hospital is a local community, level 3 rural hospital within the Mid North Coast Local Health District providing care to over 11,300 patients every year.

Services We Provide

The hospital provides a 24 hour service, including emergency department, medical, elective surgery, rehabilitation, maternity and mental health

The hospital is undergoing an $80M redevelopment which is currently in the planning stage.

The Community Health Centre is on the site and provides a variety of services to the community. Allied health services, including occupational therapy, speech pathology, social work, physiotherapy, dietetics, radiology, pathology, and pharmacy, are an integral part of the organisation and contribute to the high level of patient care.
